World Environment Day

The VCDF organized a beach clean-up activity at Elegushi Beach and invited registered volunteers to consider their volunteer contribution in cleaning the beach on this occasion. There were 75 registered volunteers , both Expat and National and 18 VCDF team members actively participated in the activity. Volunteers and the external community members were educated on proper waste management and segregation. The participants removed litter, plastic waste especially plastic bottles, plastic bags, rubber shoes, many other wastes items, and debris from the beach.
